Processing Instructions: Centrifuge at 1500g for 10 minutes. Whole blood must be spun down and plasma separated within 6 hours of collection.

Interpretation
This test was performed using the Abbott RealTime HIV-1 PCR assay. The dynamic range for this assay is 40-10,000,000 copies/mL (1.60-7.00 Logs). This test is designed to provide information for monitoring disease progression and is not intended for use in the diagnosis of HIV-1 infection or Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS).
Cautions
This test is not licensed by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a screening test for HIV-1 infection in donors of blood, human cells, tissues, or tissue products.
