Clinical Information
This test evaluates chromosomes in 20 cultured cells from tissue sample. This test is used to evaluate for numerical and structural chromosomal abnormalities in tissue specimen, such as presence/absence of aneuploidies, chromosome translocations and chromosome inversions.

Tissue (Fresh): 5mm x 5mm or larger in preferred: tissue culture transport media. Alternate: sterile container with saline or ringer's lactate solution in sterile container.
Skin Biopsy: 3mm-7mm diameter in preferred: tissue culture transport media. Alternate: sterile container with saline or ringer's lactate solution in sterile container
