Specimen Volume: 3 mL
Specimen Minimum Volume: 1.5 mL

Specimen Collection Information

  • Mix tube thoroughly immediately after collection.
  • PLTCIT should only be ordered if platelet clumping was identified in a prior EDTA specimen(s).
  • Do not order PLTCIT for clotted specimens. Clotted specimens must be recollected.
