Specimen Required
1 mL EDTA (lavender tube) plasma.
Collection Instructions:
- Morning (6am-1030am) specimen is desirable.
- Collect in pre-chilled lavender tube (EDTA), transport on ice.
- Centrifuge at refrigerated temperature within 2 hours of collection, immediately separate plasma from cells.
- Immediately freeze plasma.
