Testing Algorithm
Includes identification of ABO and Rh(D) blood group antigens. If ABO/Rh(D) discrepancy is detected, an additional ABO/Rh(D) problem test may be ordered to result the final ABO/Rh(D) interpretation
Interpretation
Standard ABO/Rh(D) type will be reported:
Routine ABO Types include: A, B, O, AB.
Rh(D) types include: Negative and Positive.
Any relevant discrepancies resulting in an undeterminant type will be noted.
