Clinical Information
The T-Spot TB test is an in vitro diagnostic test for the detection of effector T Cells that respond to stimulation by Mycobacterium tuberculosis antigens ESAT-6 and CFP10 by capturing interferon-gamma secreted by effector T cells and is intended for use as an aid in the diagnosis of Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection.

Specimen Required
Adults & Children ≥ 10 years old: 6 mL sodium heparin whole blood (plain green tube).
Children ≥ 2/<10 years old: 4 mL sodium heparin whole blood (plain green tube).
Children <2 years old: 2 mL sodium heparin whole blood Samples need to be collected Monday - Thursday only.
Ship same day as collected.
